Somebody posted "2014: Part 2" on Instagram the other week and I had somewhat of an epiphany. I'm always that person that makes NY resolutions (always) but the date doesn't mean anything if you can re-assess and change right now. We shouldn't have to wait until the end of every year to take control of our lives and kick bad habits.

Change can be scary. Most of the time it can make us a little anxious. Why would we need to change when there's nothing, right now, that demands it? I'm a 'future' person. I'm always thinking about the future - whether it's planning what I'm going to be doing next week, what goals I want to achieve by the end of the month or even where I want to see myself at the end of the year. But funnily enough, being a future person keeps me constantly aware of the present.

When they say "you learn something new everyday" - I think it's completely true in the sense that each little moment in our lives has the potential to open our eyes to something new or to uncover something we had never realised before.

So here's to part 2 of an incredible year (starting off extremely cold, might I add) and I hope you find the spark in little moments. Stay hungry for knowledge and embrace constant change.
